Hamilton Janke Lawyers Recognised in Doyle's Guide

The team at Hamilton Janke Lawyers is proud to announce that the firm has again been recognised in the 2026 Doyle’s Guide rankings. This year, four members of our team have been named across criminal and traffic law in New South Wales – a clear sign that the depth of talent at the firm continues to grow.

The 2026 Doyle's Guide Rankings

Founding partner Drew Hamilton leads the way, named a Preeminent Criminal Lawyer for Regional New South Wales and a Leading Traffic & DUI Lawyer for New South Wales – the only Newcastle lawyer recognised in the Leading traffic tier across the state.

Fellow founding partner James Janke has also been recognised in both criminal and traffic law for 2026, named a Leading Criminal Lawyer for Regional New South Wales and a Recommended Traffic & DUI Lawyer for the state. Being ranked across both disciplines reflects the breadth James brings to the firm’s litigation practice and the strength of the partnership at the heart of Hamilton Janke.

The firm’s recognition extends beyond its partners. Senior solicitor Georgina Price has been named in both criminal and traffic law for 2026, recommended in each, capping a standout year that also saw her named a Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 finalist. Her listing across both disciplines marks her as one of the Hunter’s most accomplished young solicitors.

Rounding out the firm’s 2026 honours, Skip Willcox has been named a Criminal Law Rising Star for New South Wales. Her recognition reflects Hamilton Janke’s commitment to developing the next generation of skilled criminal defence lawyers, and points to the firm’s strength well into the future.

About the Doyle’s Guide

The Doyle’s Guide is a comprehensive and independent directory that highlights Australia’s leading law firms and lawyers. Its rankings are compiled through peer-review surveys, alongside extensive telephone and face-to-face interviews with clients, peers and relevant industry bodies. Recognition is based on assessments by fellow solicitors and barristers, making it a meaningful measure of standing within the profession.

Featuring across multiple categories year after year reflects the firm’s consistency, its meticulous approach to every matter, and an unwavering commitment to fierce, dedicated representation for clients throughout New South Wales.
